Privacy Policy

This privacy policy explains which personal data Atlas Markets processes, why, who we share it with and what rights you have. We deliberately keep data collection small — only what is needed to run the platform. We do not sell your data and do not use it for advertising.

1. Data controller

Atlas Markets is responsible for processing your personal data. Have a question or want to exercise a right? Email us at team@atlasmarkets.app.

2. What data we process

  • Account data — your email address and, if you provide them, your name and profile photo.
  • Preferences — chosen sectors, risk level, setup types and notification and email settings.
  • Usage data — technical logs and events needed for security and to operate the service.
  • Broker data — if you connect an account: positions and balances, read-only, retrieved via SnapTrade.
  • Payment data — handled by Lemon Squeezy. We do not receive full card details, only your subscription status.

3. Purposes and legal basis

  • Creating your account and providing the service — performance of the contract.
  • Tailoring analyses and the feed to your preferences and sending the emails you chose — contract / consent.
  • Security, abuse prevention and improving the service — legitimate interest.
  • Complying with legal obligations (e.g. payment records) — legal obligation.

4. Who we share data with (processors)

We only share data with service providers that help us run the platform:

  • Supabase — database, authentication and storage.
  • Cloudflare — hosting and delivery of the website.
  • Anthropic — AI analysis (Claude). We do not send broker or payment data to the model.
  • Financial Modeling Prep — market and company data.
  • Resend — sending emails.
  • SnapTrade — read-only connection to your broker.
  • Lemon Squeezy — payments and invoicing.

5. Transfers outside the EU

Some of these providers are based in, or process data in, the United States. In those cases we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs).

6. Retention

We keep your data for as long as you have an account and as needed for the purposes above or legal obligations. If you delete your account, we erase or anonymise your personal data within a reasonable period, except what we are legally required to keep.

7. Cookies and local storage

We only use functional cookies and local storage needed to keep you signed in and remember your preferences (such as language and accent colour). We use no third-party tracking or advertising cookies.

8. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

  • access your data and request a copy;
  • have inaccurate data corrected;
  • have your data erased;
  • object to or restrict processing;
  • port your data (data portability);
  • withdraw consent at any time.

Email us at team@atlasmarkets.app to exercise a right. If you disagree with how we handle your data, you can lodge a complaint with your data protection authority (in the Netherlands, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

9. Security

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, such as encryption in transit, row-level security on access and strictly separated permissions. No system is fully secure, but we handle your data with care.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. For material changes we update the date above and, where reasonable, notify you by email. See also our terms of use.
